Barge to base gubernatorial campaign on education, job growth
Said Barge, “I’ve been frustrated with the lack of support that’s coming out of the governor’s office for public education. The move aligns her with Georgia’s current senators, Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson, whom she cites by name, as well as President Barack Obama, whom she does not mention. It should be noted that Isakson has been more critical of Obama’s strategy, or lack thereof, and is not a sure “yes” when the vote happens next week.”
