 LaGrange College names gymnasium for Lee Richter
The bronze plaque installed at the gym reads “Lee Richter Gymnasium. In recognition of his philanthropy and twenty years of service to LaGrange College. Lee Richter spent his childhood playing basketball in this gym. In 1993, he resurrected the LaGrange College golf program and has served as the Head Coach ever since.”

2013 SAT scores released and Muscogee County schools continue to show improvement
Thursday’s nationwide release of the reasoning test results used for college entrance showed Muscogee’s nine high schools averaged a composite score of 1435 out of a possible 2400 (combining the reading, math and writing sections) — nine points higher than last year.
