“Georgia charitable and nonprofit organizations statewide were hoping for an even more lucrative Georgia Gives Day than last year’s inaugural event. Organizers had set a goal of $1 million, which they had surpassed by 4 p.m. But they could only be delighted by the 2013 total: nearly $1.5 million – in 24 hours.”
