All four occupants of a car riddled with bullets in a Jesup shooting on Christmas Eve were from Jesup, according to the Jesup Police Department.
Police Chief Glenn Takaki released the names of the four victims Friday morning.
The three men in the car were Lloyd Darnell Stevenson, 34, of 959 S. Palm St.; Patrick Dejuan Pittman, 32, of 367 N. Third St.; and Elliott Jeleon Keyhea, 31, of 279 River Ridge Circle. The woman was Sheneika Patricia Jackson, 25, of 630 Maple St.
Three of the car’s occupants remain in a trauma center at an unnamed hospital, according to Takaki, with two in serious condition as of the latest available reports. The fourth (whose name was not given) has been released, Takaki said.
Shots were fired into the car at the junction of South West Broad and Cherry streets around 10:15 p.m. Dec. 24, according to police reports. Though Takaki did not provide an exact number, he said that “more than a dozen” bullet holes were in the car.
The car was found after crashing into a tree on South First Street at Shamrock Street.
