Dreggors charged in Saddle Club Road area thefts

crimewatchMarcus Lee Dreggors, 22, was arrested in the 1900 block of Saddle Club Road and charged with theft by taking as a result of the investigation of several thefts  in the Saddle Club Road area. Dreggors was found to be in possession of stolen ATVs and an outboard boat motor.  More arrests are pending in the investigation.

In other Crimewatch action:

• Deputies were dispatched to make contact with a complainant via telephone in the area of Stagecoach Lane in reference to Terroristic Threats and Acts Harassing Phone Calls.  The complainant stated the offender had threatened physical harm to them.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 500 block of Mill Pond Road in reference to Criminal Trespass. The complainant stated the offenders were coming onto his property during the middle of the night after being repeatedly told to stay away.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 300 block of Beaver Drive in reference to Contempt of Court. The complainant stated there was a bond condition that the offender was to have no contact with her and that he had sent her a message via Facebook.

crimewatch griffin• Joseph Brandon Griffin (26) was arrested and charged with Battery (Family Violence) and Cruelty to Children in the third degree after deputies were called to the area of the 300 block of Griffin School Road in reference to a Domestic Dispute. The victim stated Griffin had thrown her to the floor during an argument which occurred in front of their children.

• Deputies were dispatched to make contact with a complainant in the area of the 300 block of Oak Woodlands Drive in reference to a Burglary.  The complainant stated the offender had taken a gold chain and approximately $25 in change.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 900 block of Ball Field Road in reference to a Burglary/Criminal Trespass. The complainant stated the offender had opened their front door and asked for a beer and when was denied he remained on the property.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 1300 block of Saddle Club Road in reference to Theft by Taking. The complainant stated some unknown person(s) had taken a small utility trailer from their property.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 100 block of Ft. McIntosh Loop in reference to Child Neglect. The complainant stated his child had been picked up for visitation and the child had no clothes, shoes, diapers sent with the child and the child was filthy and had bruising on its body and a cut on the back of the head. The incident was turned over to the Department of Family and Children’s Services.

• Deputies responded to the area of Julian Road in reference to an Abandoned Vehicle. The complainant stated a suspicious vehicle had been parked in the roadway on Julian Road and the occupants had left the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the roadway.

• Deputies were dispatched to contact a complainant via telephone in the 2600 block of Prescott Road in reference to Harassing Phone Calls. The complainant stated he was receiving unwanted text messages and telephone calls from the offender.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 9300 block of Central Avenue in reference to Damaging Mail Boxes or Mail. Deputies arrived at the scene and observed where a vehicle had left the roadway and had struck a mailbox and newspaper box. The deputy was then able to track the vehicle to its location on Live Oak Lane and the driver stated he was traveling on Central Avenue and hydroplaned causing him to strike the boxes. There was extensive damage to the passenger side of his vehicle.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 1100 block of Ball Field Road in reference to a Burglary. The complainant stated the offender had entered his residence and had taken several firearms and approximately $3400 in coins.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 6600 block of Central Avenue in reference to Criminal Trespass. The complainant stated some unknown person(s) had come onto his property and had caused damage to the grass in his yard with a vehicle.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 11000 block of Raybon Road Wet in reference to Battery/Sexual Assault. The complainant stated she was walking on Raybon Road West and two males tried to drag her into an abandoned residence, but were scared off by a passing vehicle.

crimewatch baxley 2• Mitcham Smith Baxley (26) was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass after deputies responded to the area of Horseshoe Drive in reference to Criminal Trespass. The complainant stated Baxley had been drinking and, when told to go to bed, he tore the door frame from the wall and had thrown it across a room in the residence and damaged the wall.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 1100 block of Ball Field Road in reference to Entering an Auto. The complainant stated the offender was observed walking across his yard during the night and his Samsung Galaxy tablet was now missing from his vehicle.

• Deputies responded to the area of the 2200 block of Mt Calvary Church Road in reference to Theft by Taking. The complainant stated some unknown person(s) had taken an aluminum boat from his property.
