Hospitals work to keep out pests
Two Augusta exterminators work at the Georgia Regents Medical Center to look for items that regularly harbor insects and search for ways to protect the hospital from the medical records, plants and packages that are popular among germ-carrying pests, such as ants, roaches, flies and bed bugs.

Miller County Hospital needs nurses
The 25-bed hospital in Colquitt County hopes to fill those slots on Aug. 15 when the Georgia Department of Labor will conduct a job fair seeking registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants.
