From FIRST COAST NEWS meteorologist Steve Smith: A wet weekend is shaping up with a flash flood watch to start at noon and run through Saturday evening. Erin is still a Tropical Storm and 3200 miles away. The energy in the Gulf will impact our weekend.
Rain chance today is 70% with morning and p.m. rain. It is the afternoon and evening rain that will be heavy and a problem for the ride home.
More showers Saturday with heavy rain possible in the afternoon here to. Less rain Sunday but we could get two inches of rain when all is said and done.
We have a front to our north, afternoon heat and moisture from the Gulf that may ruin many outdoor plans this weekend.
